"Jasper is a great host - he is thoughtful and attentive. They clean the rooms and change towels every day - personally, I appreciated the big bath towels! The area is a quiet residential area AND really close to the metro and trams, making everything accessible. It is really close to Zuid station, which is a straight shot from Schiphol airport. I would recommend this little gem to anyone. "

"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"The checkin was great. The host met us in the room and described everything and gave local recommendations. He was very helpful. The room was larger than expected especially the bathroom. The room was in the back of the building and very quiet at night. "

"Really enjoyed the property and our host Fokko was very attentive. Also Jasmine was so diligent and helpfull. Coffee was provided and had room service every day. Although we enjoyed our stay, take notice that there are a lot stairs (Play room was in the last floor). A plus was that our luggage was managed by Fokko an his staff during check in and out, but going up and down daily could be difficult! Thanks Fokko for being a grate host."

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...

"My adult daughter and I recently spent 5 nights at this property. It was a lovely spot, very clean, bright, and private. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station, or a 7 minute walk to catch the bus/train. Download the "City Mapper" app to help you navigate getting around. "Great stay in lovely Jordaan area of Amsterdam. Quiet streets and lovely old area. The room was well appointed and hosts are welcoming and responsive. The church nearby has bells all night which can be a problem if you’re a light sleeper (ear plugs were supplied though!) All in all a lovely stay"

"ElIne, the owner was incredibly good, giving us travel guidance before we arrived and providing us with lots of local advice about the best places to visit and eat. "Beautiful room with excellent facilities. Very handy for the centre of Amsterdam and easy to get to from the airport. Trams every 4 minutes to the centre. Gerry Petra’s husband was great and told us a lot about the area and could not have been more helpful. The house is perfect to stay in in a quiet street right next to Vondelpark. We shall definitely come back and look forward to doing so very soon. An altogether wonderful experience. "

"Great location on a lake a short 30 minute drive to Amsterdam. The apartment was perfect for our family of five after a two week trip through Europe. Clean, spacious and attentive stafff. The restaurant on property was just what we needed when we arrived. Lots of other dining optoins in the area as well. At reecption the staff was very helpful with tips of traveling into Amsterdam."
