"From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel very welcome by the lovely staff. Our room was not quite up to scratch a couple of things had been missed on housekeeping. However the staff were amazing and quickly showed us to another room and couldnt apologise enough. The room was very spacious room 6 on the top floor so quite a few steps to go up.Comfy bed, clean and tidy alrhough could do with a fresh lick of paint but this is something due soon as explained by the staff member. Food at the stag is amazing absolute delicious and again the staff are lovely. Great place to eat. We slept well , ear plugs are supplied if you need them as you can hear the traffic going past but this cant be helped as its the road through the centre of Lyndhurst. Great powerful shower.Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and again lovely chatty staff. We loved staying here for our Wedding Anniversary break. Will definitely be returning to stay again. "
