"This is a castle on a hill! Real one. No plywood or 2x4s. Lots of history. Enormous rooms. Enormous bathroom. Phenomenal breakfast. Friendly staff. Parking is limited by the entrance, but plenty below the castle. One downside is that the bathroom is not in the rooms. Not a big deal if you don’t mind putting on a robe (which is included) to go to the bathroom at night.. There are 2 roads getting to it. The upper, longer one and the lower one. "Beautiful, very comfortable property, a variety of restaurants and wonderful staff! I would highly recommend staying here!! Some small things to note: - there is only 1 washer/dryer in the basement, you need E1 coins to operate & you own laundry soap. It would be nice if there was more than 1 machine, I can only imagine how busy it is in the winter during ski season. Also, it would be nice if individual laundry detergent was sold onsite as grocery stores are not nearby & have limited hours....

"The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again. Highly recommended!"
