"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"Nous avons loué ce gite pour entrerrer la vie de jeune Garçon de notre Ami. Nous étions une petite vingtaine venue pour profiter et nous amuser. Nous avonc choisis un weekend de pont, pour pouvoir liéer l'EVG et profiter sur nos temps libre de la Dordogne. Grace à la météo nous avons passé le principal de notre temps à profiter de l'exterieur entre la piscine, le terrain de boule, et la grande surface de terrain en herbe. "2 usesble bathrooms, not 4. Clean but lacking any comfort. One, twoseater sofa for 11 people, no other seating except dining chairs. The cupboards are full of someones effects, this lets the property down. The grounds were lovely but overgrown, balcony views obscured by plant growth, disappointing. The ground was wet all the time because grass was uncut. No hot tub, no spa. No sunbeds. Garden furniture very basic. No WiFi. We paid extra for sheets snd towels but these were very poor; dirty...

"The beautiful villa is situated very privately on a hillside overlooking the Dordogne valley. The home is exceptionally well furnished with very elegant features… many big windows, great outside lounging areas, swimming pool, and a well equipped kitchen. Nicole is a gracious host and readily available for any questions."

We spent many hours just sitting and looking! There is so much to do in the area. I definitely recommend a visit to the house and Souillac."

"Nous sommes ravis de la semaine que nous avons passé dans Les Lauzes. La maison est propre, bien équipée et idéalement située en Dordogne. La piscine et la climatisation des chambres à l’étage sont un vrai plus avec les grosses chaleurs de l’été. Je reviendrai et recommanderai sans hésiter!"
