"We arrived to the property at 2:30, with a 3:00 check-in. Our room was not ready, which we expected, so we went out for half an hour. When we return a little after 3pm they said our room would not be ready for another 40 minutes or more. We were tired and really wanted to freshen up. The staff were unapologetic (an apology and making the customer feel like they are the priority goes a long way) and made us almost feel like we were imposing expecting the room to be ready on time. "it was quite basic as expected but the room was not properly cleaned, the bin was not emptied and I had to go to reception twice to get Tissue papers, a Floor mat, a Towel and Soap the room attendance didn't drop any before I checked in. "L'Alcazar was opulent with Moroccan decor. The Moroccan staff was kind and professional. Kindness was top priority. The rooms are large. There is an amazing roof top terrace with a pool. You can walk out the front door into the Medina for shopping and traditional food. I highly recommend hiring a Rickshaw to tour Rabat's King's Palace and Chellah. Be sure to enjoy the mint tea. I highly recommend L'Alcazar and give it an A . Enjoy!"

"I was truly expecting a much nicer Riad at this per night price. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were super nice. I will begin with the worst. I got poisoning from the breakfast! "The property is very clean and has all the basic requirements in a the apartment barring a iron. There breakfast is limited to a range of 4 to 5 options with no option of any fresh fruits or cereal available at all. Which was a bit of a bummer. Very good staff on the whole barring one lady at breakfast who wouldn't give tea in a kettle like previous staff and we had to pay for extra cup of tea. "

Parking is always horrendous - don’t believe them when they say “offsite parking available.” This is a cop out - you will be finding street parking and making a deal with a total stranger who could care less about the Riad. And they will try to scam you for a higher rate. This is well decorated and the staff is excellent. But the rooms are weirdly laid out. See some pictures. This includes floor level windows that open to the center courtyard etc. and uneven floors....
