Bring your family and friends to the mountains for a family-friendly getaway! Enjoy the ease of vacation and comforts of home. The Guest House sleeps 6-8 people comfortably, with 2 bedrooms with King beds, 1 room with two Twin beds, and a sun room with convertible day-bed and trundle. Flip a switch and cozy-up by one of the two LP fireplaces! Enjoy happy hour on the front porch with view of the mountains and sheep in the pasture. Walk to the nearby swimming pond, sandbox, and berry patch.
We love offering guests the comforts of home as you explore a new place. There is so much to see and do in the nearby area, we want the Guest House to feel like a comfortable retreat where you can recharge your batteries and reconnect with each other.
At the center of the home is a full kitchen, which looks upon the sun room, dining area, and living room. Around the corner, the first floor bedroom offers a King bed and easy access for inter-generational groups. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms, one with a King bed and the other with 2 Twin beds, making it an ideal family space. The sun room offers a bonus sleeping area, with a day bed and trundle that can serve as a King bed or 2 Twin beds. The open-concept living area makes it easy for everyone to find their separate corners to relax and offer a sense of togetherness.
Xfinity Wi-Fi offers remote-work options. Cable TV and board games are provided. We have a steady alpine breeze but when needed, ceiling fans, window AC units, box fans, and solar heat/cooling pumps offer respite from the heat in the summer. Summer temperatures are usually in the 70s-90s. Swimming is available in the nearby swimming pond. Skiing and snowboarding is available at nearby resorts, and the sledding hill offers fun for everyone!
Family friendly amenities include: Pack'n'Play sleeping unit, high chair, play yard, water table, sand box, swing, slide, fenced backyard, etc.
Kitchen amenities: pots and pans, toaster, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, coffee grinder, espresso machine, knives, cutting boards, spices, oils, dish ware, etc.
Bring your family to the mountains and enjoy the outdoors all around, with a book by the fireplace in the sun room or taking in the mountain views from the front porch, double chaise lounge, hammock or swing chair. Take a walk down the country road and pick berries along the way. Visit the sheep and chickens, swim in the pond or enjoy a bonfire at the fire circle. We look forward to having you!
