"This hotel is exceptional from impeccable service to thoughtful yet sophisticated design. My two daughters and I went to tour UVM and booked one (Friday) night in a king w/trundle bed room. The night before the hotel called to say they happily anticipated our visit and wanted to know if we would like the trundle made up ahead of time, which we appreciated. Upon arrival valet was quick to greet us and we were escorted to check in. The mood of the lobby and exposed (Juniper) bar was warm and modern rustic — with talented live guitar performer — without being Vermont cliche. On floor 5 they feature a lovely cafe bar with oat and almond milk, tea and a fountain of still and sparkling water which you can fill with a sizable room carafe and Vermont-artisan-crafted mugs. The king/trundle room was perfect for 3 adults: the king bed is on a high platform and the twin trundle pulls from the foot leaving plenty of space to walk and access the shower/sink room OR the toilet sink room (brilliantly separated). The decor is charming yet simple and if you like anything you can scan and order said items for yourself in your room. Quick walk to Church Street. We were too tired to dine at Juniper Friday night but saw the “late night menu” in the room and ordered the Milk & Cookies. THE BEST CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES ever — a thin crisp crunch layer on the outside with warm, delicious high quality chocolate on the inside. We extended our stay and had fondue Saturday night at Juniper. AMAZING."

"Quite good! Friendly check in, room is very nice and close to Church Street, restaurants and shops and the lake. Bathroom super clean with nice quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap. Water bottle in the room, free coffee/tea wet bar on the floor. Giant tv. City parking garage under the hotel for 16$/night."
