"My room was in an annex accessed across the car park, the route was somewhat circuitous along a gravel path to the rear of the building to the entrance, there were other rooms in this annex. My room was on the ground floor, the building felt warm, and I was very impressed with the standard of furnishings, especially high quality blinds and door curtain, coffee and tea, and kettle provided, also TV which was challenging to use! There was something very D&D about checking in with the bar keep to get a room at the Inn above the pub. We absolutely loved staying here, and everyone was extremely kind. "

"We called ahead to ask if we could check in early so we could change to go to a wedding. They weren’t able to get the room ready but did let us in before it had been cleaned so that we could change. The family room had 2 bedrooms and suited our needs really well, and would suit most families. The room decor was a little tired but clean and all in good working order. "Room was lovely and clean. Brand new bathroom. Rest of room could do with updating but room was spotless. I had one of the rooms that opened to outside. The door was a little drafty was the only downside so had to turn the heating upto max to stay warm. But would 100% stay again."
