"We had such an amazing stay at cabin 1. We both slept great on a very comfortable bed. Location is ideal for short day trips. We checked out whitefish point and Tahquamenon falls in the day and finish the night with a great bonfire right on the lake. Made sure to take advantage of both early sunrises over a nice cup of coffee. Carrie is very accommodating and Great suggestions that we took Paul for breakfast on our way out. We definitely will be booking this Cabin again in the future and...

"Everything about the description was correct. House is updated throughout.All the utensils you need for cooking and cleaning are in the house. The grill worked and had propane for use with it. The neighbors waved and said hello. Easy access to the freeway. Great communication with the host. Truly an awesome experience."

"We wanted a weekend away with just the 2 of us. We wanted a secluded, cozy cabin in the woods. That is exactly what we got. The cabin was clean, cozy, we loved the white Christmas lights which made it cozier. We felt like 2 giggling kids laying in the full size bed. This cabin was everything we wanted. "This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. "Did not use bunk house but cabin was perfect size for 2-4 people. It was clean and comfortable. Great place to launch day trips and an even better place to come back to. Access to beach right out the door and can watch freighters come and go day and night. Hard to beat!"

"The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit enjoying the lake. Great location as we visited the shipwreck museum and Mackinac Island. "Our 3-generation family travelled to Brimley, MI to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our son, who is attending a local college. Trent & Kristine's cottage was a perfect spot for us. The cottage was stunning, well equipped and spotless! We enjoyed exploring the area during the day, and cozying up by the fireplace in the evenings. Trent and Kristine were very quick to answer any questions we had and made up feel very welcome in their cabin. Highly recommend! 10/10"
