The location is fantastic and even though the place is close to the road, it doesn’t feel that way with the river so close. A few pieces of feedback: a real sponge would’ve been nice to do dishes (we were left with only a magic eraser), and the two top bunks need new slats which would make the beds much more comfortable. "Our group had a great time at Riverview Lodge on the Clackamas River. The home is wonderfully built and very solid. We were very pleased and somewhat surprised at the attention to detail especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. The kitchen AND pantry are extremely well equipped with an electric tea kettle, slow cooker, etc. The beds and bedrooms are very homey and comfortable with good bedding, mattresses, and pillows. We can’t wait to return. "

The only note I have is to let the property owner know that the dishwasher wasn't functioning properly. It seems like it is breaking but wasn't a huge inconvenience for us. Thank you for having us! "Stepping into this cabin, you can tell the host has thoughtfully and carefully worked through each detail to capture the history and beauty of the area. The cabin was so peaceful, with sounds of rain and the river nearby, beautiful lookout windows, and the comfiest bed.
