We had a wonderful holiday at The Coach House, the cottage is very well equipped, spacious yet very cozy and well located to get to know the beautiful area. Very good communication with both the caretaker and owner answering a couple of queries. We shall definitely return. Thank you Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The Coach House is lovely and it is not the first time I have stayed here so would definitely recommend. However, in the last 3 years there have been no real changes to the property and needs a little bit of TLC. Could do with a new curtain pole in the main bedroom and blinds in the second bedroom (they were a bit mouldy), could do with some new non stick pans, 100% needs a proper covering for the drain on the shower as if you leave the shower mat on top of it the water doesn’t drain properly and when you remove it you run the risk of standing on it which really hurts. I have to say we were super impressed with the cleanliness, I bought my own wipes etc to go over the touch points and would expect a little bit of dirt etc but it was absolutely spotless which was really reassuring given the current circumstances. One thing I would say is that the weather was shocking when we were there which obviously has nothing to do with the property itself but it would have been nice to have a basic sky package for the really wet and miserable days for the price we paid for the cottage. Perhaps it would also be nice to have a little bit more wood for the fire on the first evening there, we arrived at just gone 3 and by the time we had unpacked etc and started to get cosy we lit the fire but there were only two tiny logs which didn’t last us very long so we ended up having to go out that evening to buy more. I’m not suggesting you have enough for the week but just enough for the first evening. The milk, bread, eggs and butter on arrival were much appreciated and a really lovely gesture. Overall like I say just a few minor points to be taken into consideration! Would highly recommend this property to friends and family!! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely quaint cottage on a quiet lane leading to the sea.
Lovely quaint cottage on a quiet lane leading to the sea. Difficult to keep property clean with dogs due to the very wet garden leading to the lounge with cream carpet Lots of rain this week but very warm cosy cottage for winter.

Lovely cottage but a little tired.
Lovely cottage but a little tired. Needs attention in some areas i.e. dripping taps, shaver light and socket, shower waste trap needs cleaning, kitchen shelves need a clean, difficult to understand the heating instructions and work was needed in the garden eg grass cutting and a little pruning.

The only problem was it was the wettest, coldest week ever in June.
The only problem was it was the wettest, coldest week ever in June. We did not feel we could fire up the boiler so borrowed a convector heater. The lounge was large and cold. Otherwise the cottage was lovely.

A very comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a wonderful location.
A very comfortable, well-equipped cottage in a wonderful location. The garden is very pretty and it was lovely to sit outside, especially as we had beautiful sunshine most days. It was very quiet and peaceful. There were many interesting books provided - a nice touch. The cottage has lots of charm and doesn't need all the plastic flowers in each room. Some of the leaflets provided were very out of date.

Great place, just what we needed.
Great place, just what we needed. Need to be a bit bendy upstairs as ceilings are low. On a decor not you could get rid of most of the artificial flowers which both clutter and are dust traps. Location great and parking straightforward. We would certainly like to come back. Thank you. PS the kitchen could really do with a casserole and a tea strainer
