3.5, and could be 5 with a little help.
Our biggest issue is that the listing says 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen, 1 with twin bunks, and 1 with a queen and 2 twins. But it’s actually a full with 2 twins—a bouncy, mushy full. The twins in that room are paper thin mattresses on boards and they felt a bit like 2x4’s, so I’d only recommend them for kids, even though they were roomy twins. This presented a major issue in our vacation. We surprised my older parents by inviting them for part of it and were happy to give them the queen. This meant that my husband and I had to sleep separately which is not what we wanted on vacation. I couldn’t tolerate the twin for a second so I slept in the mushy full and my husband put his 6’2 body into the twin. Furthermore, this bedroom had no blinds and while I’m fine as an early riser, my hardworking husband was really looking forward to sleeping in all week but was woken up every morning with the sun. My parents felt terrible that our backs were bothering us and wanted to leave early so we could have the queen which we definitely didn’t want. Lesser cons: no flat sheets for 3 of the beds, no hooks in bathroom or bedrooms and no closet in upstairs bedroom, several windows without screens. Pros: awesome deck & views, amazing couch downstairs, awesome yard, well stocked and appointed kitchen, great location, gas stove, good WiFi, streaming, Bluetooth speakers for music. Make some changes, and we’d come back for sure, namely a queen bed, blinds, and screens.
