"I loved everything about the Jarvis Inn. I stayed in the cottage and it was just perfect, the bed was so comfortable. Ian the Inn Keeper was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay and he had great recommendations for dinner and night life in town which I took him up on. I especially loved breakfast Ian made the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. It was my first time in New Bern definitely not my last and I look forward to staying her again. "

"The house is very clean and awesome and very well stocked! I loved the large open-floor plan and the two patios (one screened and one open) right on the waterfront! We spent 10 nights there and hated to leave! The owners are awesome and very easy to work with! I'd recommend this cozy cottage to all my friends who are traveling to New Bern! The sunsets and beautiful and the view is absolutely amazing!"

"The property was beautiful and aesthetically pleasing inside and out. The area was so quiet. I was there for four nights, and never saw any other people in the neighborhood until the morning that I was checking out. The unit was very clean in every area (bathroom, bed linen, towels, floors). "The best thing about the location is the view. Great view of the river and it’s cool to watch the train cross the river almost right next to the house. There’s a cute little park next to the house. It was mostly clean besides some small areas. The bed and pillows were comfy. We had trouble sleeping in in the mornings because the neighbors down the street have roosters that crow early in the morning around 4-5am every single morning for the 4 mornings we were there.
