"Unterkunft war sehr spartanisch, Sitzcouch verspeckt und dreckig, Klimaanlage, Garten, Fahrräder und Boot und den unmittelbaren Blick aufs Meer , wie ausgezeichnet, hatten wir vergeblich gesucht. 2 Sterne insgesammt, weil die Gegend sehr ansprechend war. Was sehr ärgerlich war, ist die gnadenlose Abzocke der Parkgebühren und das auch in der kleinsten Provinz. Fazit: Holland sieht mich nicht wieder!"

"Clean property with basic facilities and a fun place for children. There was a heat wave when we visited and the plastic wood-lookalike did not breathe easily - it was a choice of keep the windows closed and roast or be eaten by mosquitoes, which are so cunning in that part of the world that they slipped through the window nets. We chose the latter. Next time we visit, we will bring mosquito repellant to rub all over our bodies, as there are no shops close by. We will also book a canal boat hire...
