"The gite was wonderful, everthing possible was there for the guests use….torch, matches, cleaning products, extra toilet rolls etc. We were welcomed with the most amazing pack of food products including beer & wine. The bed is super comfortable with additional blankets if needed, the large shower is great as well. The area/local towns were a little too quiet for us but we made the most of it….and it is out of season. "

"After initially staying for 10 days we then went to the Dordogne for a week. I wish we’d have stayed here the whole time! Still you live and learn. The gite is very clean, well equipped with a lovely modern bathroom and kitchen with plenty of space to park your car. "Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. "This property is a peaceful shangrila. Our hosts Barbara and Kevin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is an enclosed peace of paradise. After cognac tasting, going to the local farmers market, kayak races and wandering the lovely village of Jarnac we always looked forward to returning to our gite. Good stay

"Room was ideal for what we wanted. Close enough to center with free parking available. Restaurants and supermarkets walkable. Easy check in and out. Good value for what we got. Good budget option. Only negative was room could be cleaner in places but to be expected so not to bothered. Very happy overall"

"The hotel was beautiful and the staff beyond helpful.. Location was perfect in a beautiful street close to the main square and walking distance to everything. But you must be aware that its a small city ad taxi service is limited... i had to walk to the hotel from the train station and also on my way back.. all the taxis.were fully booked.. 1.4 km not bad but.with a suitcase is not fun... this not the hotel's fault... but you must be aware (the same is i guess for all hotels) "
