"Simple attic studio was great for a short work trip to Brussels. Located just around the corner to most of the EU buildings and with everything you need for a quick meal at home. The heating worked well, bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. "The apartment is in a great location, very central, and it was clean. However, you do pay for what you get. It was a good price, so perhaps we should not have been surprised to find that it was in need of maintenance. "Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....
