"Came to the area for a week to visit my daughter and her husband, but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This place was fantastic, 10 miles from where they lived and turned out to be a much better hangout point than their apartment complex. The place was clean, well cared for, and they neat location on the beach. They’re in Freeport. We are coming back to the area next spring, and would love to stay here again."

"Great, quiet neighborhood. Water view from front porch a calming plus! Nurses was excellent. TV easy to access online accounts. Well appointed bath with washer/drier, much appreciated. Would have liked comfy bath towels though. Kitchen has it all. Super close to beach was an added bonus. Will definitely come back. "

"The pictures really don't show how spacious the house is and how close the house is to the water. Wish we could have stayed longer. Really enjoyed watching the sunrise and fishing right in front of the house. Our dogs liked laying on the porch people watching. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to be back there. "The property has perfect access to the beach! We had a great visit for my son's 13th birthday celebration with his friends. They stayed in the bunkroom upstairs which was perfect! The grounds ("yard") were a bit rough, but hurricane Beryl had a lot to do with that I'm sure. We didn't use the yard and were there for the beach so it was fine. The house is well kept and clean, but the front door could use some work. The extra fridge is a bonus! The place was just what we needed!"

"House was clean and well equiped. There is a lot of repair going on in the area from the hurricane, it rained a lot while we were there so we explored the area. Not too far from some fun things. Houston and Galveston Island. The house did have a smoker smell, To moat it probably wasnt that bad but we definitely noticed it. . All in all it was a nice trip. Wish the weather was better. 😞"

"Was very pleased with the property and the location for fishing. I took my 2 grandsons 11&13…. We fished from the dock only… caught sheephead, white trout, croaker, redfish, drum and a few catfish… had two drum over 40lbs and one redfish was 35lbs. Using live shrimp and mullet cut bait. The property….. small one room but was what we wanted on this trip… close to bait, dollar general and a couple restaurants. We have no complaints just know, there are no chairs on the bottom level or...

"The house and location was great. It did have a yard area I didn’t see a garden. I don’t remember a washer and dryer but there is a washteria/ laundry mat as you are enter Surfside which I have used before. We hope this house is still there after Beryl hurricane. We loved it and will be back. "

The rooms were fitting for the amount of people that stayed and the outside setting was perfect for the company we had for the dinner.
