We stayed the weekend at Viking Villages for a birthday celebration. The property was wonderful and the cabins were awesome. Great attention to detail with a full kitchen and working gas fireplace. The flock of sheep and outdoor fire pit were a great touch. Plenty of nearby food options and activities.

If you want a retreat. If you want to stay at a place that demonstrates character, comfort, convenience, and beauty. Drive 20 minutes from 91 and soak in every moment here. The more you slow down, the more details you notice in the craftsmanship and decor. Our family felt so welcome and got to make some rich memories.

Very different experience and we loved it! We were in town for my husband to run a local marathon and it was nice to have the kitchenette and separate sleeping areas for the grownups and kids. Every detail in the chalet was considered - would definitely come back when we can spend more than one night!

The property is pretty impressive. You actually feel like you are entering an old Nordic village. It’s not cheesy, it’s very authentic. The cabin was really cozy and delightful. Loved the fireplace. The male owner was very kind and accommodating. My only complaint is that at 11:00 on the nose someone knocked on my door to check out. I was literally on my way out. The place wasn’t full and I drove in a snowstorm to get there, so I felt that was premature. I never experienced that before, so I was taken aback a little. But on the whole it was a great experience.
