"Cheaper to book through the internet than booking through the hotel's website? strange. My stay was lovely, the pub is lively but not late, the food was good and my room was very comfortable. Parking was a real bonus."

"Staff was outstanding. Food in the pub downstairs was great. Good nearby ethnic restaurants. Buses ran down the street and directly to Hammersmith Station (Tube). One downside is no lift but staff compensated when we arrived. Not open til 1pm so plan arrival accordingly."

"Really beaitiful country pub with a fantastic selection of drinks. The menu was varied and our meals were very well cooked. The waiter was great and we enjoyed our time in the pub itself. The room we had was a twin, unfortunately there were no double bed rooms left but thats ok. The beds were comfortable and clean. The room was well decorated, clean and we had tea and coffee facilities. A nice clean bathroom. All round good value. We were offered the chance to book breakfast in the morning but...

"Good value, proper British hotel that's been going for a few years (or 100's years) so parts of it are perhaps a little fashionably distressed - genuinely, not by artifice! Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. Parking and breakfast included so great value. "

"The Alma is conveniently located by the train station. It’s literally steps away. It’s in a great area with dining and shops in walking distance. They have a lively pub and quaint restaurant on site. The rooms are comfortable with space to stretch out after a long travel day. "
