"we were sposed to be out by 1 but left at 12 - blame the gf but the proprieter was more polite than i woul have been. i just mention this as the attitud of the owners - just friendly - so thanks and sorry ? im bit of a cheapo and so accordingly was the room - so i wasnt expecting much and got more than i bargained. must be very hard to keep an old pirate house shipshape overall plesaed. "Perfect Hotel for a St Ives Visit After much research, I chose this hotel and couldn’t have been happier. We previously stayed at the Carbis Bay Hotel, but since the G7 summit, prices there have soared, and the walk or train into town feels inconvenient. Sea view rooms are a must. We enjoyed stunning sunsets as boats returned to harbour and even spotted dolphins playing in the morning. The in-room binoculars were a brilliant touch. The hotel combines modern, stylish design with the charm of an older building, featuring winding corridors leading to the spa. The spa is sleek, with a well-sized pool, two excellent saunas, a jacuzzi, and loungers offering stunning bay views. A full range of treatments is available. The bar and restaurant are creatively decorated and maximise the views. Food and drinks were enjoyable and met expectations. Things to Know: • The walk to town is 7–8 minutes downhill and uphill on return via steps or a steep slope. • Train and bus stations are a 5-minute walk. Valet parking is efficient—use the bays opposite the entrance and give notice when you need your car. Overall: I was fully satisfied and will definitely return."

"Literally everything was amazing and such a nice stay, beds were actually quite comfy, having the TV on the wall was nice, good storage space. Brilliant. Only bad thing was the bathroom wasn’t suuuper clean; there was blood around the sink drain and little hairs littered around. Other than that, brilliant."
