"Very nice renovated cabin in the woods away from it all. We had a really nice time there. When we were there winter weather was at the height of stormy weather. Snow and ice were happening. A 4WD truck is best for this weather scenario, which we had and experienced no issues.the cabin access road was plowed as necessary, so no issues!We had a great relaxing time! "

Everything was as stated in the description. Having a heavy duty crew cab pickup presented an interesting endeavor getting turned around 😆, the driveway was very steep and not a ton of room. I managed. Skee Ball was a huge hit. Didn’t explore the dock since it was the last weekend of October. Would definitely consider staying there...

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."

"My girlfriend and I had a great glamping experience hosted by Dave and his wife. Not only was Dave incredibly attentive during our stay but also gave us recommendations on where to explore around the town and hikes near by. The cabin was equipped with cooking material and wood for the fire (which we really enioyed). For anyone looking for sometime to disconnect and enjoy with a loved one - We recommend this cabin for you!"

"The description of quiet spot is exactly that. After a day of skiing, this was perfect for our family to come together to unwind and make memories. You get the warmth of home feeling walking in the door. All the amenities were provided and some. Birds visiting all the feeders in the morning gives you that serenity feeling. The hosts are amazing. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love...

"My wife and I stayed at this location for our anniversary weekend getaway and it was amazing. Gary and Dawn do a great job with their properties as we have previously stayed at the Fox in the Hen house, which is great as well. The Green green grass of home was amazing. Very private. Very warm and cozy. Staying in the wintertime the road is seasonal as listed which was not an issue as we have a 4 wheel drive SUV but plan accordingly if you do not. "This was a great location for our weekend away in the Finger Lakes. The listing was accurate and as other reviewers noted, the property is a little older with some appliances being fairly dated. There was plenty of cookware and supplies needed to make a few meals during our stay. Check-in was smooth and host was responsive!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is close to a skiing area and lots of attractions. The cabin is well maintained and there were no issues. Great communication with the owners. "

"This was our third stay at the Love Shack and it couldn’t have been better! We come each fall to tour wineries and waterfalls. The Love Shack is cozy and relaxing with an amazing view of the rising sun each morning, a lovely deck, and all the amenities for a long weekend stay. The location is great for traveling around Seneca and Keuka. The winery across the street-Scout-is wonderful!"
