"I had a really good stay - the breakfast and service was excellent and room very comfortable. I did find the room a little too warm though. The main light was not working and there were no rubber bath mats to stand on in the shower. I was however given a bath towel to use instead. I was hoping to make use of the extra pillows in the wardrobe, but unfortunately there was a vomit-like smell in the wardrobe which had permeated the pillows. "A loverly village inn with great food and real ales. Very comfortable bed and room very clean. Shower was clean and they water hot. In all a very comfortable stay. We were, attending a wedding at Leez Priory which as 5 mins away. Local Chelmsford cabs serve the Leez so transport back was very easy. "
