"When I first checked in, I felt like I was interrupting the staff. There was nothing welcoming about it. Also the bedding arraignment was not what I requested. The cups in the cupboard were chipped and one was dirty. "

"Convenient location, close to shops and eateries, spacious apartment and friendly staff are the pluses. The decor and furniture are a bit dated. The bath tub had a crack on the outside and was mended by a tape. Servicing was to be provided every 3 days. We stayed for 4 nights and staff kindly helped arrange servicing after 2 nights when we requested. Overall we were satisfied given the favourable pricing. "

"On checking in, my credit card which was used to secure the booking was charged even though I ticked the pay on arrival button and I was standing at the counter with my eftpos card. This meant that I then had to go into my bank accounts and move money around which was inconvenient. The room was nice and large with cloud-like beds that were beautiful to sleep on. When I pulled down the blind there was a big strip of dust the length of the blind. I'm not sure anyone had ever cleaned along the top...

"Great 3 days visiting the culture of Canberra with friends. Comfortable beds and clean hotel close to Braddon restaurants plus tram at door into city. Staff very helpful"

"Despite having booked Citystyle Executive in Braddon and checking that we had a 2b2b unit, we were emailed with less than 48 hours notice that we had been moved to another apartment 500 m away which was a 2b2b. We were told that the Braddon site had no 2b2b units at all. Whilst we got an appartment which suited, there was a water leak in the bathroom, damaged blinds and a lack of security locks to keep the sliding exterior doors open and secure. We did however love the location and Canberra"
