"A lovely mini weekend getaway, which I would thoroughly recommend. Greeted in arrival with a glsss of Prosecco and room was ready!! Room was spacious but slightly lacking in storage space. Spa room is lovely but can get overcrowded so maybe not quite as romantic / peaceful as you want. Lack of hanging space (robes) in the Spa. "Brilliant service, very friendly. We extended our stay for an additional night. Ate in the restaurant on the afternoon, food was amazing! Only feedback is they could do with some powerpoints in the bar/lounge area to enable business customers to be able to work. We ended up having to work in the restaurant, which was ok for us, but wouldn't be possible when it's busy as they would need the table. Couple of the tables in the bar could do with being swopped for high level tables with power...

"When I arrived at the hotel, sadly the car park that I'd checked on google maps was shuttered with a notice attached to use the rear. This was quite hard to find, as you have to turn down a steep left turn, then along a ropey looking high street, then take the second right, first left and then it on the right.
