"We booked this hotel following positive feedback from friends. I can safely say this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. From the warm hospitality of the staff, to the cleanliness of the room, the exquisite food, and the range of facilities at our leisure, it was just incredible. The spa and its heated outdoor pool was a particular highlight. It was a simply phenomenal experience. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination, but worth every single penny. "

"We've just returned from a two night stay at Ednam House hotel. Its a hotel with a traditional feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a courtyard view. On the other side is the most magnificent river views. Breakfast was nice and staff extremely pleasant. Wouldnt hesitate to return or recommend to anyone considering a visit "

"This is a great spot in a lovely castle town. We were in easy strolling distance to the beach, great dining options and of course the castle. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming."

"Very good and clean hotel, 2 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the town centre. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. They allowed us to leave our bags there before checking in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was essential, but good. I had a lovely stay, definitely would stay here again."

"Fabulous hotel- what made it was the staff. They couldn’t have been more friendly. It is tired looking on the outside but don’t be put off- lovely big rooms Lovely breakfast, wide choice. We will definitely book again My only tiny, tiny quibble is- no soap was given for the sink and I had to keep leaning across into the shower ( all lovely products) to get shower gel and did slip once . "Fabulous location in the centre of Seahouses with views over the harbour. All the staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic trip. Nothing was too much trouble and although we didn’t have a dog with us, those that were there were given an equally warm welcome! (There was a dog free area of the dining room as well but all the pets were very well behaved - obviously exhausted by all those long beautiful coastal walks.) The rooms were comfortable and very warm with none of that annoying phoning down to reception to turn the heat up which seems to be the standard in large chains nowadays. We were not fully inclusive but ate in the restaurant through choice most nights as the food was freshly prepared and very good. Helen, Peter and their staff run a very efficient and friendly hotel which we will definitely visit again. "

"We stayed for 1 night en-route from Yorkshire to the Scottish Highlands, and we were absolutely gutted..... because we wished we had booked for longer! We had room 101 and it was simply beautiful. I actually cant fault a thing. We will definitely be back.... but for longer next time :)"
