"I recently stayed at Glenn's home for a family get together (a chance for my 3 children to get to see their grandparents who can no longer travel). The property was fantastic. We cooked at home one evening and the kitchen was well stocked. The large dining room table in the great room was perfect for a group.The home was well furnished, all of the bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and the view of the river is incredible. We visited in late December so didn't get to use the outdoors. ...

"What a dump. The broken floor in the kitchen snagged, then tore my sock. None of the pans could be used they were so scratched and burned. The ceilings are peeling, as was the wallpaper. There are bugs in the bedrooms, where the walls don’t meet the floors! There are scurrying something’s in the walls and closets upstairs. "The house was even better than the description/pictures - it exceeded our expectations! We spent a fantastic four days here and there are so many lovely small touches that just made the house exceptional (the bathroom under the stairs, the framed papers, etc... so cool!). The owners were so thoughtful in how they decorated for the holidays and communicated ahead of time, making sure we would walk into a warm home. During our stay they were responsive and helpful and we can't thank them enough...
