"A fun spot for a stay with wife and kids to visit Santa’s Village during the Christmas season. Very festive atmosphere. The entrance and lobby are beautiful. The rooms are nice. Not the greatest ever but it’s an old historic hotel so it was pretty much what I was expecting. One of the beds in our room had multiple long strands of hair on it, and a small bug flew out from under a pillow we picked up from that same bed. "The Bretton Arms Inn is downhill from the Hotel Mount Washington. We could use all of the facilities (pools and fitness center as well as the many restaurants and the shuttle bus to the main hotel and to the ski area) at the Hotel Mount Washington. Our room rate included a continental breakfast buffet with a number of healthy options parking was close by. "

"We were upgraded to the Breton Arms property, which is much nicer than the Lodge. Still way behind the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Dining is very difficult. Reservations need to be made waaay in advance. And there isn’t anywhere else to eat. We had to buy a pizza 30 miles away and take it back to our room, so we could eat at a normal time. "
