"Spacious, clean apartment with great view. Close to everything, 5 min walk to Dover beach, one of the best on the island. St Lawrence gap has lot's of bars so there is some noise in the evening, we were staying over New Year so it went on quite late, bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper and sleeping in the rear room (other bedroom is much quieter). Overall highly recommended. "

"My husband, two friends, and I stayed at this property from December 4 to the 16th. We had never rented a VRBO property before and had always gone on all-inclusive resort vacations. This property was perfect for us, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, a full kitchen, and living room and a beautiful deck overlooking the pool and ocean. "It’s always a bit of the unknown when you book somewhere , but this was a great find. Communication from the owner was great , property was exactly as described and the location was ideal . You can walk to everything you might need and if you don’t have a car , the bus stop is very close. We had a really lovely time and places like this enable us to visit a country where hotels etc can be very expensive. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. "Loved the pool my daughter and i used it quite a bit,the area was nice and quiet, got to see the green monkey's walking by ,it was a good stay ,a car is required as the walk to the main road for public transit is very long and not fun in the heat. Over all i would rebook ."

"We had a lovely week staying at the Sapphire Beach condo. The host was very responsive and dealt with any issues quickly and completely, even providing us with the name of the driver they use, saving us with our airport transportation. As for the accommodations, some things for future renters to know: the pool deck does not allow glass bottles or cups, and the condo was not stocked with plastic (aside from some tupperware), so plan on bringing your own. "Ocean Spray Apartments was one of the most amazing stays we had at Barbados. The view to the Ocean was fantastic, we rented a studio room and were not left disappointed. The studio had all the amenities interms of utensils and we self catered so it was perfect. "The location is by the beach. It's hidden gem. Reception is very professional and accommodating. Lot of places nearby, e.g. walking to the bar, government building. And for the price you get a lot of value. We enjoed our stay. "

"It was not too big, food was good, staff was very nice and helpful in all areas. The room was clean and we did not spend much time there we spent the days on the beach which was what we liked, with the barriers of coral it allowed us to have a calm area to stay in the water. My husband was snorkeling out there daily. Shower could have some type of shelf, and doors of rooms slam loudly so if you’re not an early riser you do hear them. Sizzles and the Japanese restaurant were very good and the buffet was also good. Not much in town or we did not find the right area. We did a taxi tour with George and he was very knowledgeable and showed us all the island highlights . The Island buses are quite the ride if you are looking for and island experience. Special thanks to Emerald for keeping us supplied with water and towels! "
