"The property had everything we needed to make a full Thanksgiving meal. The large table accomodated everyone with plenty of room. The property is beautiful, the owners were so accomodating and responsive. I don't think there was any detail not considered. The kids are already asking when we can stay at River Place again."

"Easy check-in. Clean home. Unloading is a bit of a walk from driveway to front porch. Huge fenced backyard for dogs was great. Possibly clear some brush along decline as the dogs loved to explore for rabbits! Onsite washer and dryer was great. Pots and pans in kitchen were nice ! Thank you!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! It was tucked away which was perfect for us. We made some great family memories sitting around the table, playing cards and games. And the fire pit out back was perfect for roasting marshmallows after a day of exploring the area. We will definitely be back!"

"The farm house is so cute, beautifully decorated and has everything you need. You have cows in the backyard! The owners are very accommodating and respond quickly! Very close to St. James downtown . Would definitely stay there again!"

"We had an amazing time! It was a wonderful quiet get away. Just what we needed to recharge. The property was wonderful, great trails in the woods, coffee in the morning on the deck watching the fog rise off the water, yoga on the dock & wine/bourbon on the deck in the evening. We're already planning our trip back in the spring. And what a wonderful place for the dogs. I've stayed at a lot or VRBO's & haven't had one as well stocked as this one or as welcoming for the pups. "Donna's home is absolutely gorgeous! She was a wonderful and communicative host. We had a blast! Would definitely stay again. It has anything you would need. We were blown away at the beauty of this place. Everyone had something to do at our celebration with the game house, the lake and the pool. The pool was perfect and the lights were a bonus at night. People wanted the info to stay there later. Didnt want to leave. "

"We had a blast here, little bonfire at night and we played games at the kitchen table during the day. Meramec Caverns is about 25 mins away and we went there for a little outing. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the owners were wonderful."

"The house was great the yard was great wished we weren’t so rushed and had the time to enjoy the surroundings. The upstairs shower was on the small side, thin walls so depends on who you are sharing the upstairs with they will hear you and front bedroom you can hear the road very well. We had long days so able to sleep through it after the first night. This is a great country house. "

"Absolutely beautiful home. Myself and a group of 15 men came to the area for side by side riding. Found this place and so glad we did. Amazing home plenty of room and parking for all our rigs. Melinda and Mike are the most amazing host I have ever experienced in a travel. They fixed our group a healthy breakfast and made sure our stay was amazing. Will definitely be back to this home for a stay in the future. "
