The meal was surprisingly delicious—thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and far better than what you might expect from a hotel restaurant. Even more memorable than the food was the kindness of the staff. They were warm, attentive, and especially welcoming to our children, treating them with genuine care and friendliness that made the evening feel even more special. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with a lovely view of the port and a bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Calais on foot, and we appreciated how relaxing everything felt after a day of travel. While it may not be a luxury destination, the Holiday Inn in Calais delivers exactly what a traveler needs—comfort, kindness, and a few unexpected delights. We would absolutely stay here again."

"Query the room for disabled visitors with walk in shower. had to go in the lift walk the length of the hotel and down in lift to access room 301. Very happy with reception who were very willing to change our original room to one with the walk-in shower.. my only query is why you had to go up along and down to access this room. Otherwise, everything perfect, thank you.."
