Friendly owners on hand for any issues or queries. Easily sleeps 8 (2 double and 2 twin room) and has two lovely hot showers. Plenty space for families!"

"Acer Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. Tideswell is peaceful yet very well served with essential services. It was a treat to find the Merchant’s Yard just steps away and the bakery was great too. The cottage itself was equipped and furnished to a high level and communication before arrival was excellent. "Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."

"The cottage is lovely and in a great position with nice views out to the hills. It is well located and a short walk down into town (but probably a long climb back which we didn’t do because of the ice) The hosts could not have been more helpful. All the fixtures and fittings were pretty good although we did not do any cooking or washing while we were there. Beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Wi-fi worked well and I could stream on my phone and broadcast to the TV so we could...
