"We had a wonderful holiday, the perfect blend between out-and-about every day to local markets and towns, lunches, wine and chilled beers in shady squares. "It was the trip of a lifetime and our host, Jo, could not have been more fantastic! Attentive and knowledgeable about everything we needed. A perfect place for visiting the entire area. We stayed 5 weeks and had a total of 39 people stay during that time. Everyone loved the house. A perfect place for celebrating with family and friends. Jo suggested Chef Celine for special meals in the house and she was amazing. I did not want to leave. A truly magical place!"

"We’ve had a wonderful week here. The pool is fantastic especially as temperatures were in the high 30s, thankfully inside the house remains cool. The garden is huge and beautiful with secure fencing allowing our dog to safely explore. Marie is welcoming and friendly, the perfect host. The house is lovely and very well equipped. The location is remote and peaceful but an easy drive to the next village for groceries and 2 bakeries."

"The property was very well located, being close to the town of Chalais with a decent size Intermarche and Monday market. It was situated at the head of a farm track leading into fields of corn and sunflowers. The gite was spacious and clean and the bedrooms comfortable. It was good to have 2 bathrooms.
