"Just average. This hotel is fine for just a couple of days , maximum. Its 10 or 15 minutes walk from the train station. The room look ok. The wall in the room needs to be painted. They are a little dirty. The bed was not very comfortable for us. The shared bathrooms lack of good hygiene because from my perspective need to be cleaner. Besides this the shower area are too small. "Extra hidden costs needs to be payed on arrival, no way of avoiding these since they are not optional services. No hot water and when asked about it, the response was to try another bathroom. You get one sheet which works as both the bed sheet and the cover which had holes in it. No keys to the doors to the rooms, all doors was unlocked all the time. Bathroom door couldn't be locked. There is a fan in the room but the condition of that was well past its expiration date, it made a terrible noise."

"Madama was my first hostel experience and it was great! Beds were comfortable and the location was great, about a 5 minute walk to the metro which can get you anywhere in Milan quickly. Area is safe and always people around, but quiet. Madama’s bistrot is very lively, so if you prefer a more quiet hostel this is not for you.
