"Svanhildur was an awesome host, always available to any queries and help. The house was clean and beautiful. The kitchen had all the utensils needed and was also well stocked - which was important for us as we did a lot of cooking for a family of 10 people of all ages. "

"Michelle was lovely and the house is very fun with all the art. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequate. For us it wasn't five stars because none of the bedrooms had any side tables for the beds, there were also no side or coffee tables in the living room, the wind woke us up a couple nights and it wasnt even a storm or anything , that's the usual (obviously not anything Michelle can do about that), and the sulphur smelling hot water was really pungent (again, not the owner's...

"Stayed in small camping pod and loved it. Loved the atmosphere there. Overall, much greater than I expected, and I already was excited for the stay. the restaurant overlooking the waterfalls and river, the troll garden stroll, the hot tubs. All superb. It is in a remote area and provided us an excellent view of the northern lights, which we watched from the hot tub. Ideal experience, I recommend giving it a shot. "
