It is conveniently located for the west and south gates of Yosemite and the two nearby towns. we loved Idle Hours, and the Hideout Saloon (great food at both). We stayed for 3 nights explored Yosemite and surrounding area, if you want a perfect location with amazing host’s I can’t recommend this place highly enough, it takes approx 1.30hrs to get into the park, but the drive is easy and scenery is amazing…The cottage is exactly as described and so far our favourite location whilst touring around the area.If we ever come back to visit the area, we will definitely be back…1st rate 👌"

"The people are very friendly. The facilities are new and clean. It’s easy to get to because it’s next to the freeway. However, I don’t think the description was clean about the place. I did not know that I have to use shared bathroom and shower. The walk from the tent to the bathroom is dirt road. My feet get very dirty again. It was a hot day and the tent was very hot. There was one fan in the tent. I just hope that the description would be clearer. "
