The staff were lovely, the hotel and room were beyond my expectations from the pictures and the area in Galle Fort was so wonderful and walkable. This was a great place to do some day excursions from as well, we went to both Mirissa for whale watching, and Hikaduwa for a beach day."

Susantha (House Manager) is a credit to the business, welcoming, professional, very helpful and great with the arrangement of tours and travelling. The staff team were very friendly making us always feel at home. Their attention to detail was very good, attentive but not intrusive. The breakfast and all meals cooked for us were very good and we very much enjoyed the cookery session. Very good standard of cleanliness with the bedrooms being very comfortable. The large pool, access to the beach, the hammocks and the swing seat were all great and made for a great stay. The house, the location and the people of Sri-Lanka made our Sri-Lanka stay feel like home. Would very much recommend this accommodation to friends and family. We arrived as strangers and left as friends."

"Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel is located right on the beach, the ocean is just a step away. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The restaurant is open for limited time frames but room service is available throughout the day. Loved the view from our room, to get the sea view you have to book premium sea view. Comfortable beds and pillows. The staff was courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi was spotty especially during peak usage but the view, the sea, sun and sand make up for it. Food service maybe slow at peak times but you need to understand that food is made to order and NOT premade. Breakfast is a delicious spread of Sri Lankan and Western dishes, with a good selection of breads, fruits and juices. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at Hikkaduwa Beach Hotel."
