"Staying in a masseria is always special but I think that this place is something else. Spacious rooms, open-air dining, gated parking, all away from everything in a quiet area. We absolutely loved it and would have stayed longer if we could. "

"The proprietor was very proud of her city and explained the traditional breakfast food and demonstrated how to prepare it for eating. Her husband was fluent in English and helped us with any complicated queries and a little history as well. The ceilings in the hotel and rooms were domed and unique. They also assisted us in how to bring our rental car close to the hotel for loading."

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Corte. Situated perfectly at the edge of the historical centre, meaning an easy walk to the sights, restaurants and bars of the city, whilst also keeping a quiet atmosphere to rest in. Francesco was a fabulous host, bringing us sweets every morning for breakfast & giving advice on the city and things to do in the area. Very communicative over WhatsApp which helped the language barrier! Apartment is clean and very comfortable stay. Having access to cooking...

"I booked the hotel as it was described as wheelchair accessible and I even emailed the property to confirm. They replied that it was indeed wheelchair accessible. When we arrived, I could not get past the bed in my wheelchair or enter the bathroom. The toilet had no hand rails and the shower has a step to enter it and also no handles or a shower seat. It was totally unsuitable for my needs and we had to find another hotel."

"When the host, Marco answers your questions immediately and assists with your needs (taxi service) quickly, it makes a great stay! Lovely accommodations, location and breakfast. Highly recommend!!!"

"By far one of the most unorganized hotel i have ever tried. Reception hardly ever there and when someone comes, can't help much. Furniture old and uncomfortable, sheets and towels hardly every changed. One day the person who clean the room, left the room with our door wide open fir anyone to get in and left his or her key in our door. So safety is zero."

"Un très bon hôtel hors du temps. Avec une jolie vue sur l’église. la ville de Nardo est très jolie et et il y a de très bon restaurants. Pas envahie par les touristes. Attention par contre il n’y a pas de piscine comme montrée sur hôtel. Com Petit déjeuner sans plus normal. L’hôtel est très bien situé pour les vidures au tour et pour se Bruner sur les belles plages de congchilie. Demander à l’hôtel de réserver. "

"You enter through a discreet old door. After. A little climb ( you can do it) up the stairs , here you are. My room spacious and tasteful. "Beautiful apartment close to the old city. Very clean room with typical high ceilings and attractive window shutters in this rare Palazzo house. It is an exceptional accommodation but unfortunately the lock on the room instead functioning properly and the key to the bathroom door doesn't fit in the lock unless you have Midas touch hands. If security is not a concern this is ideal."

"Beautiful property underwent a renovation to really help the charm of it stand out. Clever interiors, cozy bedding. Tempurpedic bed, slept amazingly well after our flight. The breakfast buffet was the best we had traveling around Puglia. Still dreaming of some of the items we enjoyed. Staff is really friendly!"
