"We stayed here for a couple on nights whilst cycle touring in Holland. We had a lake view lodge which was an amazing compact modern duplex space with a nice little terrace overlooking the lake. Very tranquil with great views. The bar & restaurant complex was great and the included breakfast was like a full on UK afternoon tea served on tiered servers. Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. The attitude and lack of help and welcome from staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No attempt to understand or put things right. The propertiy was amazing just like the pictures.
