Room could do with an update, towel rail connection held together with tape, dusty in some areas, generally clean, no remote for tv but can be controlled by buttons on the side of the tv, this gives you restrictive control. "Stunning grounds, lovely and accommodating staff. Our toilet seat was broken, but I didn't mention it to staff as it was only one night and we were moved to that room last minute as I couldn't access the other room so I assumed that was why. I'm confident they'd have moved us or fixed it if we said something though, they were a very good hotel."

"Stayed at The Pied Bull for 2 nights March 2025 & have stayed there a few years ago. Lovely hotel /pub with a warm comfortable atmosphere about it. Comfy bed, spotlessly clean, good facilitates. Good hearty full English breakfast. The staff are great & very welcoming. Enjoyed their thursday night quiz too. Location is perfect as right in the heart of historic Chester. Its near lots of shops, bars, restaurants. Easy access to the walls around Chester too. I would highly recommend staying...
