"House itself was very spacious and clean. We stayed 3 nights as a family of 7, 5 adults, 2 children. Only 35 mins to Milan. Many restaurants and grocery nearby. Just is very nice and very responsive to all our questions. Tip-ask about all fees prior to booking. Host fees very high. Home is also along side road and traffic can be heard all day/night. Construction began next door on a new home day 2 at 0700. Not the hosts fault, but something to be considered when charging high host fees. Also...

"Live like a local, in the thick of things, yet in a house that is quiet and cool. WE stayed in end of June, and swam every day among the bees smothered lavender. the house is close to Como, Milan, and Varese, and had everything we needed for our stay. "It was much as I had expected, very clean, good views over the valley and excellent communication with Monia, the owner. We succeeded in stealing a key and a mirror and leaving a pair of glasses behind, all of which are finding their way back. "We used this home as our base as we traveled each day exploring Italy. As a base location, we did not cook or use most of the kitchenware so I can't speak to its adequacy. I would suggest providing more trash liners and some ziplock baggies for guests. "Beautiful villa nestled in a quiet edge of a small town. Comfortable with a large pool and great outdoor areas! Paola met us and took us through everything we needed to know and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Central for touring Lake Como, Milan, Valpolicella, or areas south. We did have a chef in for two nights dinners and that was awesome. I would recommend this nice villa!"
