It was very comfortable with 2 ensuite bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen diner / sitting room downstairs, which had everything you could wish for including a DVD player for the kids' siesta time! "Couldn’t speak more highly of this property and the wonderful welcome we received. Easy to find and well located for winding down in France. We found it clean, comfortable and authentic. Very grateful for helpful and welcoming touches like chilled drinks on arrival and some breakfast basics which we all enjoyed. Everyone slept well in the comfortable beds. "A real experience. The moulin is beautifully furnished and sits in the middle of a field. Hosts helpful and friendly. Perhaps best for a couple or family rather than 2 couples due to layout of the bedrooms. We will always remember our stay in this unique setting. Thankyou"

"This gîte is very spacious and located in a quiet and beautiful landscape. Having some cheese, baguette and wine while the sun sets is just heavenly. The home made jam and fresh eggs from the owners chickens were just a wonderful and personal touch. I can highly recommend staying here!"

"Our stay at Bois Mort exceeded all expectations and Maison Maurice was the perfect place for a much-needed lazy holiday, surrounded by farmland and wildflower meadows. "This is an excellent property. The only problem was locating Bois Mort from Gorges. The location appears to be not Garmin GPS friendly. But this was quickly remedied by the owner. This is a delightful spot. We spent six pleasant nights. Many Loire sights easily reachable in day trips. Very relaxing place to return to and host Richard charming, helpful and a very good cook. We would highly recommend this spotless, expertly restored historic property for a Loire region stay."
