"What a delightful little find this was! The property owner is absolutely delightful and so very helpful. The room is very spacious and the surrounding areas are lovely. The actual town of Cilaos is so quaint. Really loved it. The actual hotel is quiet, safe, and clean and very centrally located. The parking is very easy and secure as the gate locks at night. Overall, really great place to spend a night or several. Cilaos is a stunning place!"

Coming from America, I truly appreciated the local experience, and his son was the first person that I actually was able to speak to in the outback of the Territory. The B&B is quiet and very well-located for visiting the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, which must be seen during any visit to La Réunion. We stayed in the Soufflé Austral room which had big open windows that looked out to the ocean, and double doors with a balcony where our hosts made us a wonderful breakfast each morning. There were screens you could use to get fresh air or use an AC unit which was great. We chose to eat a dinner here and it felt like we had a private chef, which was our host Audrey.
