"We had a wonderful stay at the property for five weeks, trying out how it would be to retire to Mauritius and live there full time. The property is great, has all it needs for living there and is in a secured, usually quiet area. During our stay, there was some noise due to work on the new build next to the property. We weren't bothered too much, as we usually went out during the day, and the work had finished at the end of the afternoon."

"We stayed in the villa for 4 nights in August 2024. We had a self-check-in, as our host Francoise was abroad herself. However, Check-in was easy as described, WA-communication with Francoise as well, and there was a telephone contact to a neighbour in case of problems (wich we didn't need). The house is very nice, situated near the sea with sea-view from the upper story. The public beach is some hundred meters away but very nice, clean and quiet. "Marie and John, the owners could not have been more helpful arranging cruise port transfers, a car rental and lots of restaurant and tour recommendations. The apartment is an easy walk to the Flic En Flac beach as well as grocery store and restaurants. The unit is a bit dated but otherwise worked perfectly for us especially with the pool only a few steps away. It suited us perfectly for a 2 week stay"

The location is great - close to some great beaches and also to the mountains. "Very friendly caretaker Chris who was always reachable. Kitchen has all the stuff you need. Some pots and pans could be replaced. To summrize, we would definetly come back again."

"Great location, comfortable rooms and large indoor and outdoor areas. Private pool. A little isolated with limited restaurant availability. Did not try to access the restaurants at local hotels as seems to be behind secure gates. Pool had an uneven floor but this did not affect it's use. Misunderstanding re a break down of a fridge resulted in a request to pay for it's repair but this was quickly rescinded following further clarification.rbut quickly "
