"This is a wonderful place to stay, close to Orleans and within easy reach of both towns and countryside. The gîte was clean, very well equipped and the owner friendly, welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and forgiving of our French!! The swimming pool at the gîte was a high spot for us all and we swam every day. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

"We had a lovely time in this charming little cottage. Very quiet, comfortable. Our host was very helpful and communicative as well. "The purpose of our visit was to attend the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival at Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau is an easy run from Poligny and definitely a place worth exploring. Beautiful countryside and a very relaxed atmosphere. The Gite was comfortable and we enjoyed meals outside in the courtyard under the beautiful ash tree. "The accommodations here were very comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen for a rental. The owner was very pleasant and addressed any concerns we had very promptly. They also had a very cute and friendly dog that visited us outside for our morning coffee. Only thing that was not excellent was the refrigerator. It had a musty smell and leaked water from the freezer into our food. It was all that we needed for our short stay."

"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...
