"Well equipped, comfortable and homely, with everything you might need for a break away. In beautiful countryside with excellent walks straight from the door, whilst only 5 minutes or so walk to the village. We definitely hope to return some time."

"Bank Cottage was a great spot for our family to stay the weekend. We loved the spot on the river and the garden was safe for our little ones. We didn’t have to worry about anyone falling in the Severn! The cooking and dining facilities were fine and we enjoyed the sitting area overlooking the patio. The sitting room at the back of the property was rather dark and we didn’t use it but I can imagine it being a cosy space in winter. As mentioned by a previous guest there was a smell of oil/fuel...

" Being Yanks from the west coast of the USA we have always loved the Cotswolds. Where better than Cirencester to spend a quiet month getting to know the area and people.This is a Village with lots of beauty and history to savor. North Cerney, just five miles out in the country is a quiet little cluster of cottages with a local pub where the food was fabulous. Ask for the filet with stilton garlic sauce!!! "We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. All in all, an excellent place to stay. Thank you. "

"Highly recommend this lovely little stone cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our host, Emily, was very helpful with info about travelling to and from the town and responded to enquiries quickly. Winchcombe is a great place from which to hike and there was lots of info in the cottage about local trails. "

"This cottage was beautifully appointed and great for ease of access to Cheltenham. Note that it is on a main road, so there is some traffic noise. The bedrooms were not made for tall people due to the ceiling angle, but I didn’t have any issues at 5’2 :)."

"The property is set in wonderful grounds and is well furnished. We had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The fire in the lounge was a lovely focal point throughout the time we were there and we would love to return in summer when we could use the pool. Unfortunately Vrbo’s computer system did not appear to communicate with the property agent’s which led to various problems, including the property manager not knowing that we had paid the deposit. "We had an absolutely magical weekend in the Cotswalds. The property is perfect and exactly as described. Check in and check out were effortless, and the host was immediately responsive, even though Europe was in the midstate Verizon data glitch. "Loved the charm of the cottage which is exactly what I was looking for! The kitchen was well equipped although we didn’t prepare any meals there. Nice to have a wood burner in the living room and a fire pit in the yard, although we didn’t make use of those either."
