While the property was clean, it lacked several essential items that significantly affected my stay. Firstly, the kitchen was inadequately equipped. There were not enough pots and pans to prepare meals properly. Additionally, there was insufficient cutlery provided, which made dining inconvenient. "Second winter break get away as a family in this beautiful cottage !!! Did not disappoint you have everything you need at the place , extremely clean !!! Very spacious with a great view of the lake !!! The host is very helpful and addresses all concerns within seconds !!! If your looking for a family cottage place I strongly recommend it !!!"

"Beautiful home, love the chalet style decoration with lots of space for everyone to be together comfortably. We were 8 adults celebrating a birthday, just wanting to chill out and swim, it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well appointed, love the espresso machine, the fridge with the bottle chilling drawer and the pantry loaded with condiemnts, etc. The beds were suer comfy and the stereo system with the turntable was a real plus. "This is what VRBO is supposed to be in my mind. A nice room with a private bath and a place for our dog for a good price. And that is exactly what we got. So pleased and we’ll be back the next time we are in Peterborough!!!"

The only criticism I have is it isn't noted in the description that the water has a smell and is not drinkable. The owner provides a 15L jug of water but it's good to make aware of these things prior. We would rent again!"
