"Fabulous location, just a short walk from the beach with great views over Boat Harbour and a great outdoor space by the pool. The property was clean and tidy when we arrived and kitchen is well equipped to allow a full meal for a large group. The agent was very helpful and answered questions promptly.As stated in the property list, there is no air-conditioning and most of the windows do not have fly screens, however, fans are provided and we took extra with us too. We did discover three portable air conditioning units as we were checking out which would have made the use of the top floors more bearable. It would have been good to know in advance that these were available for use.The back room, accessed out the back of the house, did smell quite stale and musty and it was hard to air the room as there were no fly screens. Also, the room had no lock on the outside so we could not lock it when we went out.Overall a pleasant stay, and with a few minor improvements could be a 5 star review."

"Oaks Nelson Bay suites are pretty nice. We received a free upgrade for one bedroom apartment with full kitchenware, Foxtel. Car park is alright. The best thing that I like was the walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. "
