"A lovely relatively quiet old manor house, just off the M11. Rooms well insulated for heat, 2 windows didn’t close easily in my room, but other guests seemed to slam them shut. Bed was huge and very comfortable; the bathroom was clean and the domestic staff maintained the room daily. I did drive past a couple of times as i thought the main iron gates were a service entrance, but not. Its a sharp turn into the 'drive' and pull up to the gates which will open automatically. "We stayed one night at this beautiful, very classic hotel, perfect location for exploring downtown Cambridge. Parking at the hotel was cheap compared to other hotels.They gave us the option to leave our car in their parking lot once we had checked out. The continental breakfast was good ham and bread. "

"Check in for our one night stay was very quick and efficient and the receptionist kindly offered us some free drinks from the bar as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We accepted these and took them later after we had eaten dinner. We would have stayed longer in the bar had it not shut disappointingly early at around 11pm. The service was good though. The room was very clean and comfortable and at a nice temperature - although the air con was rather noisy - and the bathroom clean but...

"It’s a unique venue in a pretty rural spot but right on the doorstep of Cambridge. The Spa is small and personable with Gym steam sauna and pool. My only disappointment was that the treatment slots were all booked up bar one so only one of us could benefit from a treatment. "

"All the staff were so friendly and helpful. From the front desk staff, the restaurant staff, and the cleaning staff. THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY IN THIS AREA. After seeing some of the other inns in Huntingdon, there is no computing the Marriott. "

"Our time at the Waterford was short, so we were not able to see or use all the facilities offered, and give them full review. We will be staying here again. Our only criticism is, the cocktails were very weak & not worth the money, we would recommend at trip to the near by supermarket."

"Lovely location right by the river. Hotel is spotless and staff were all very helpful although it was understaffed for demand at the bar with long queues because of the glorious weather. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. Would recommend this hotel. "
