"This little Casita was perfect for a couple days of fishing at Lake Whitney and t(e Brazos river. The place was really clean and well equipped. The only negative is it’s on the west side of the lake so it’s hike to get to a grocery store, but I knew that going in since we owned a property in a near by development several years ago. No complaints here…would stay there again."

"This home has charming small-town feel with lots of character and all the amenities we need. My daughters enjoyed playing with the box full of toy animals in the hutch. The location is wonderful as we walked to the square for meals and shopping, and right next door is a fun cafe for lunch. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to me. "This place is VERY SPECIAL hidden on this beautiful piece of land with animals roaming around. Its so pretty there . I came in late it was dark and hard to find but i called and Helen gave me perfect directions and was so sweet. Love all the little lights and special attention to each spot. Would love to come stay in the railroad car someday. If you want quiet and enjoy country and seeing all the stars this is the place to be. Loved it i will be back"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Anchor Cottage over the weekend. We had five adults and our two year old and it was the perfect amount of space for all of us. We were close enough to go to the state park and also go fishing in the Laguna Park area. My two year old loved chasing the neighbor's chickens and though we were close to other properties it was quiet and peaceful. The cottage was incredibly clean and had plenty of amenities and then some! I would suggest bringing your own foil or...

"We just needed it for a one night stay. Wish the drive there was smoother but knew what we were getting into. Only recommendation would be updating accommodations from sleeps 4 to sleeps 3 as there’s only one queen bed and a twin bed. Host was great about communicating and allowing us to check in a little early "
