Take a 1-hour drive to Lake Placid and Mirror Lake to experience the restaurants, dog-sled and shopping. Enjoy winter carnivals and festivals all season long.
Spring/Summer: Blue Mountain is one of the cleanest lakes in the United States. Pristine Blue Mountain Lake is 2 minutes down the road enjoy boating, fishing, kayaking, rentals at the Blue Mountain Marina and swimming at the public beach. Take the historic boat tour, rent a sailboat, dinner cruise on nearby Raquette Lake (W.W. Durant). Hike Blue Mountain and Castle Rock to take in stellar views. Visit The Adirondack Museum located right across the street with many activities and events throughout the year. Experience Buttermilk Falls in Long Lake. This area offers endless outdoor fun.
